It has becomepopular to depict the freedom of choice as something negative, which provides avariety of negative consequences. To describe how stressful it is for theSomali traditional elders to choose a constituent assembly to adopt the newdraft constitution and a parliament of Somalia and Somalia’s future, exceptthat in my view led to segregation.

Now, it mightwell be thought that Somali traditional elder’s appreciate being able to choosea constituent assembly to adopt the new draft constitution and a parliament ofSomalia that they believe to be the best for their future. There are different interests;different needs and different opportunities are emerging for each one when theycan choose. But if they do not want to be able to make these choices for theirfuture, because it is stressful to take responsibility and try to do the bestfor them that they know better than public administrations do so, they candispose off the responsibility in many ways. One possibility is that it is quite simply choose thefuture as the UN, AU and the international group, designates to or simply theclosest interest. It is indeedcorrect segregation. Or they can go together with other elder’speople who feel the same way and set up acouncil of individuals who can believe can make elections better than what theycan: “The little clerk advice “. Or they cancall the nearest UN, AU and international group of politicians in any case nevertheless considers they know better on what is best for others.

But weshould also run the whole way and to combat all that forces us to take responsibility for ourselves and our future. The issueof ideology can easily become stressful. There are many alternatives to choose from.Large or small ideology, Islamic or democratic, conservative or liberal? In addition, the possibility to choose to peopletending to ideology in various places in which they prefer which really createssegregation. It wouldin this case be better handled by a UN: AU orinternational group of politicians decides the issue of ideology for the Somalitraditional elders. Then you can also get a better overall planning of those whowas believed.

This can be adifficult factor of stress for those who do not want to decide their own futurebe phased out, namely the choice of political systems and justification for, not to mention procedure as thereare many alternatives.

Yes, we have to buy clothes when it comes to dress whichcould easily go wrong to choose for yourself. Thefreedom to be able to decide can be depicting when you want to tack the authorityperceptions of the citizens as less knowledge. But for the Somali traditional elders, it is simple. If we want to something other than what we have in the past, we have found thatwe want. Otherwise we will be doing, as others have said to one or, as theyhave in the past.

However Somalitraditional elders have it is always more difficult. They have to do in a freesociety decide for themselves what they should choose on the next time. Thisstress can only be compared to stress that not be able to choose what theywant.

I should now, with aparaphrase of my famous words, loud and clearly saying that all the Somali traditional elders that we can understand veryconcrete when unfreedom in every way is worse than the freedom. If it is now wecan not appreciate freedom as such.
